Used to apply frit and powdered glass to hard and soft glasses, as well as Pixie Dust to soft glass. The trough is shaped like half of a pipe that has been cut lengthwise and will sit on the work table without rocking. The frit or powder is placed in the center area. As the hot glass work piece is set onto the frit or powder and rotated, the curved sides of the trough help to keep the frit or powder surrounding the work piece. The frit or powder falls back on to the work piece and tends to not spread down the length of the trough. Your work piece gets coated considerably faster and with less applications than when using a flat marvering plate. The small Combo holder measures 6" long and is reversible. On one side the width is 1½". Turn it over and the other side is 2" wide. The Small Combo trough comes with two disks, one for each side, that are used to push the material to the center.
