Sold x 115 grm (1/4 lb) Glass Alchemy Chocolate Crayon Borosilicate Glass Rods. This color was designed to be a deep, rich, dark opaque brown to fill a void in the palette. Size: 7mm x 58cm length. Weight per rod approx. 32 grms. 3-4 rods per 115grms or 12 - 15 rods per 458 grms (1lb).
Working Tip:
Pre-heat in outer flame. Avoid rapid heating.

Chocolate Crayon is indeed a chocolate brown opaque color that is very dense and one of the nicest opaques in the Crayon series to work with. It handles well in any flame, sharp or soft, and can be heated closer to your torch tip than other Crayons seem to prefer. Try to keep a flame setting that is neither too reducing nor oxidizing when using Chocolate Crayon without encasement. Under clear the color holds true and can be stretched or blown very thin without losing opacity.
Chocolate Crayon works smooth and creamy, melts easily and without worry of sublimation. Chocolate Crayon compliments many other Glass Alchemy colors such as Alchemy Mint, 444; Bronze Sparkle, 8458; and Green Sparkle, 458.
