Sold x 115 grm (1/4 lb) Glass Alchemy Agua Chameleon borosilicate Glass Rods. Agua Chameleon, 4846 is the most recent of the Chameleon series to be introduced. Based on the popularity of the other colors in the series and an overwhelming wave of requests for Agua Azul, 446 to be Chameleonized we finally made it happen. The results were so amazing we still wonder why we waited so long! Size: 7mm x 58cm length. Weight per rod approx. 32 grms. 3-4 rods per 115grms or 12 - 15 rods per 458 grms (1lb).
Working Tip:
Work this color in a neutral flame. Garage at 975° F, Anneal at 1050° F.

Now one of our favorites comes with options. This opaque aqua blue works just like its non-silver filled sibling, Agua Azul. I use it for murrine, solid sculpture, blown work on clear tubing or coil potted and with or without encasement in clear.
With silver in the color you can trap different amounts of fume coming to the surface of the color and depending on when and how you lay your clear on, you can get colors such as cream, light blue, sea green and other cool tones to compliment the aqua blue opal base color.
Agua Chameleon holds its color as it is drawn out in stringer and is applied smoothly and works creamy. When blown extremely thin you can see slight translucent qualities and minuscule air bubbles, but this only shows when unencased and blown thinner than 1mm.
