Sold x 115 grm (1/4 lb) Glass Alchemy Amazon Jewel borosilicate Glass Rods. Amazon Jewel, 487 is an aventurine sparkle color that strikes to bright yellow and chrome lusters. When I saw my first vortex marble I envisioned this color and set out to design it. Ideal for coil-pot blown work and use in marbles, you can play with this color for hours and still not discover all it has to offer. Size: 7mm x 58cm length. Weight per rod approx. 32 grms. 3-4 rods per 115grms or 12 - 15 rods per 458 grms (1lb).
Working Tip:
Work neutral; reduce at end for metallic effects. Garage at 975° F, Anneal at 1050° F.

This super silver packed blue green sparkle color can be reduced on the surface to a brassy or silver metallic. If done correctly, the metallic surface will be opaque and reflective. When barely reduced the result is a milky blue green transparent sparkle with luster of green and yellows, creams and blues.
This color is great for mixing with other Glass Alchemy Amazon and Chameleon colors. Also consider thickness of color layer in blown work to achieve desired effects.
